Hey everyone,

I have posted about this before, but it wasn't much help. I am looking for the NewOrder concert shirt with the multi-colored barcode on the front. On the back, it has all the north american dates. I totally loved this shirt and I wore it to death!!! Any pointers would be cool.

By the way, what is your fav. concert shirt?

Rob there's zero chance of picking up this shirt unless someone wants to give or sell their scratty one they've worn for 15 decades. It would be easier locating a minotaur.

Surely the coolest gig t-shirt was Barney's in the Run video? ... most probably his own picked from Marks & Spencers but cool anyway.

I've got a New Order Summer 1988 t-shirt which is pretty cool, a little bit tight nowadays but that's down to the dryer and our lass who boil washes my smalls.

:hat:

Isn't the barcode one, the one and same that Barney's wearing in the Run video?

I thought the roadcrew shirts - 'New Order Posse Totally Unprofessional' (or whatever they read) - from the American dates looked pretty cool.

The black one with the exploding red bar from the last tour looked okay. But I never got round to buying one. Shame.

Don't remember this one - was it Barrowlands, Wembley and (possibly) Paris?

Not one for gigging really, is he Barney?

Yea those were the three.

I picked it up at Wembley, dark blue, had a big star on the front, long sleeve with three small intersecting electronic stars logo on the back and the dates also.

Cant remember which interview it was now but Johnny said they werent a "live" band thus the lack of live dates... i expect Barney was still reeling from the after effects of that infamous monsterous US tour well into the early 90's though ;)

There were 2 versions of the 1989 North American Tour shirt that both came in black & white - the diff'. being the dates on the back.

My one comes from the first string of dates I went to of that tour, starting in Miami - the first date of the tour was actually in San Juan, Puerto Rico. When I met Rob in Miami to sort out the gig & party passes he explained that the PR gig failed to get underway due to adverse weather conditions...

Jarvo knows some of that US story but for now at least that's all...

ahhh...the barcode shirt...I have worn mine so much that the damned neckband is in shreds now...sniff sniff...but I can't bring myself to throw it away...

the coolest one that I have is the flag shirt with the signatures of Barney, Gillian and Stevie.

Anybody else have the 'pill' t-shirt from the Technique tour in damn near day-glo colors? Didn't see it listed in the clothing section of the website.

I had that and the 'Round and Round' one with three intertwined ampersands in [pink]pink[/pink] [orange]orange[/orange] andyellow which remains my all time favourite. Both now sadly rags if they're still knocking about the place at all:(.

I had the R and R t-shirt with the ampersand, dead nice it was as well.. sadly well past its wear by date now!

Also had a mysterious black tshirt with a grid on the front with the four respective members heads in kinda blue negative photograph, Gillian was nigh on impossible to make out and i think i only managed to work out her face once when i was extremely off my face and started at it for ages like one of those magic eye pictures! ooh wot fun can be gleaned from a NewOrder tshirt!!!

I had a bizarre long sleeved one with a rather psychedelic design featuring a human eyeball and one I got free from Virgin Megastores when I bought "Substance 89" the video. It was basically a screen print of the video cover, not very inspired but quite nice for fuck all!!!

Hooky wore this on Big World Cafe, didn't he?

My mate had the Womad 85 t-shirt when he was 16 - it had the Ceremony "O" and three "I"s on it - and continued to wear it right into his mid-twenties, till it looked like a bloody crop top. Not a pretty sight.

You can get the barcode t-shirt from Blue Cat but no dates on the back. My fave concert t-shrts all now worn to death and disposed of: Perfect Kiss - with arty design. State of the Nation Tour '86 with dates on the back - I was at the Tower Ballroom. 6-8-10 1987 tour - Dusseldorf, Paris and London. G-mex 88 - white with the orange circles on the front. New Order Concert - SEC, NEC is still worn although far to tight and faded to a grey colour from the original black. Oh the memories!

The weirdest T-shirt I have of New Order is a pink one with 89 and a star on it - with the dates of the American tour on the back - still have it - it's a wee bit tight though;) The Reading Fest Barcode is my all-time fave - I had 2 of the fookers - can't find em anywhere:mad:

I still have G-Mex 85 festival of the 10th summer, G-mex 88 Malvern, Wembley and the substance one copying the album sleeve with Bernards autograph on, plus the ltd edition world in motion (think it still fits too, I'll have to wear it this year....... if they re-release the single

My fav ever t-shirt was the summer '87 one which I once leant to someone and never saw again.

The best one of the current crop is the red one with white stripe which I picked up in Liverpool.

I did come across a Happy Mondays Freaky Dancin' t-shirt the other day which was still in remarkably good condition.

I forgot, I have the Freaky Dancin' long sleeve. Still fits, although I did buy the XXXXXL size to enshure it was "Baggy".

Faves, Summer 1987, Round & Round (green)

On the subject of T-shirts, if Norder management are tuning in do yourselves a favour and get the merchandise sorted. Your audience has aged, sad old bastards like me haven't bought tour shirts since 1989. However I would like to continue the indoctrination of my boys. I can't get a childs Norder shirt anywhere! So please raid the back catalogue and produce replicas of the above tour shirts (ages 2 and 4). Alternatively just sell iron on transfers. Any free samples would be gratefully received.

:tank: is this supposed to be Mr Morris?
