It's not surprising, but a bit unfair. Tim can direct a post towards me and insult me and call me a TWAT, but if I do the same thing, and call him a "wanker", my post gets deleted? I know he's a MOD, but a little bit of a double standard, don't you think? This is an excellent example of the biases that exist on this board. I'd like to have some personal conversations with some of the people on here. Things are getting ridiculous and I'm not leaving. I'd like to work things out, though. If anyone wants to talk to me personally about things, let me know and i'll be more than happy to post my phone number.

Sure I have. Usually jokingly, as in the occasional vulgarity, but when it's been directed AT somebody, it's AFTER they've started in with me.

If the mods aren't observing the community standards, what are the chances anybody else will be observing them either?

And if the standards are purely "ceremonial," then basically a moderator is a person who is free to fling abuse from behind the safety of his mod powers. There's a word for that....

Get over it man. I take the piss out of you, nothing more, no insults, and you respond like the person you seem to be. If you can't take the stick, don't open yourself up for it by posting total rubbish.

If you managed to be like 90% of the posters on here and not be constantly setting yourself up for a fall with controversial threads that expose your complete lack of understanding of who New Order are and what they have done and continue to do, you might find that people don't take the piss quite so much. Do you constantly need to draw attention to yourself by starting a new thread every time? Can you not contribute to existing discussions or do you get a buzz out of seeing your name as the thread starter?

Either way, as long as you keep posting amusing stuff that gives people (and you may have noticed, it ain't just me...) the chance to take the piss, we will. If you can't handle the heat, you know where the kitchen door is.

I do contribute to other posts. I've contributed to maybe 4 or 5 posts on here this past week. As I said before, I speak my mind. Is me saying Brotherhood is better than Technique rubbish? Or is it my opinion? Anyways, I love you Tim. You're the greatest.
