Doesn't matter whether you are based in the London area or anywhere else in the world, I need to work with a committed and talented bassist and drummer/programmer/ synths wizard for some new contemporary material. Fifteen songs written and in rough demo format, I don't have the programming skills to turn all the drum and machine sounds I hear in my head into something viable, so need help from others. No live plans, the band can be virtual as long as necessary. It works for Glasnost!

Fancy co-writing and performing some songs that will sell and will get your name in lights? PM me!

Tim, if I can be of any help, just let me know.

I would love to, have you got definate ideas for bass, or parts you want bass writing for, I can have a go at the drums as well, it's worth a go, plenty of samples and loads of FX in cubase4.

What's happened to the rest of digital?

Well, you can count on me for any bass and or programming you may need done.

Although these days, programming pretty much means cubase, I can still program anything (anything that doesn't say Yamaha DX something on the rear panel anyway).

If you want solid and groovy, I'm yer man on bass, I can even read the dots a wee bit, and can follow a leadsheet like a pro. but if you want flashy and clever, seek alternatives :D

Thank you all, I shall be in touch with all those who have responded and PM'd me. Basically the rough demos I have produced so far consist of one-take guitar and vocal, with some unstructured bass added beneath. I don't have the ear for original drum parts or synths, I can copy NO stuff on MIDI until the cows come home but hearing the compopsition layers of original material doesn't come naturally to me.

I should stress (as Nick has observed) that this is nothing to do with Digital at all, this is my own original music rather than any JD/NO stuff. Digital will continue to turn out a handful of gigs a year if anyone is prepared to book us, but as it takes up so little of my time I need to be doing something else worthwhile musically.
