'twould take a lot more than a CD to scare me, i do believe. though i could yet be proven wrong. i welcome the opportunity to hear most music with open arms. well, except absolute shite. but i think that goes without saying. ;)
Put it this way - the end of the fourth and final track on the CD sounds like the musical equivalent of every sane person's dream of ramming every shit pap boy band / nu-metal boy band through the biggest industrial waste mangler you can imagine and watching gleefully as their bodies are wrenched apart and all their bones, insides and entrails spurt out in all directions like that scene from JohnCarpenter's "The Thing" where the many tentacled ...um.....thing.... rips that hapless man to pieces......
Now tell me, Janaki, have you still got the stomach strong enough for it??

Good point Gnu - but no, it isn't, However, !BASHER! actually wrote a track called "B.S.E." which didn't make it onto our last album "Planet Shafting" - simply cos I didn't think it was fair to include a number only half the band played on (hence that title - only three alternate letters from our band's name = three drummers only - clever eh??)
However, Janaki - it's on its way to you as I type - par avion, so you should get it in a week!! ;)

seriously, am looking forward to this CD. so long as i don't get poofed in the face with some strange powderish substance upon opening the package, i think i shall enjoy it very much. :D

Just a moment - how does this newcomer Jae Kim (even the name rings alarm bells) know so much about us Janaki?? How did she - only on her second post, natch - twig about "the angriest man in Britain" bit when it's not even on this thread? Has she been reading the "Martian on Channel 4" thread beforehand? Prior to registering and posting?
Now, excuse my heightened sense of suspicion but - only yesterday I succeeded in eradicating an unseen - multi-monikered - menace from another NewOrder message forum....could it be that that individual has succeeded in slipping through the net and set up camp here YET AGAIN with another identity and fictional address....? I mean, The Bronx....come on...that's just too good to be true.... (It was Las Vegas last time for chrissakes...!)... mmmmm.....something tells me something isn't quite all it's supposed to be here...and Janni, if I were you, knowing what happened on this very forum only a month ago, I should tread very carefully with this particular newcomer - until all possible avenues of scrutiny have been truly pursued.
She seems to know a lot more than the average "newcomer".... obviously she must have been checking other threads beforehand.... How often do new posters do that? Not very that's for sure....

Scuse the loopiness. Procrastinating on a 24 hour take home professional responsibilty final. Going to go jump on the subway in 5 minutes. Am a friend of Janaki's. That may be reason enough to get the authorities on my case and boot me out, but that is another thread for another time. ;)

As far as the black keys, my buddy has a Vox Continental...the organ with the inverted black and white keys. It's a good way to incrementally overcome your fear of using the black keys. Plus he's got the 16-track ADAT setup and a drum iso booth.
By the way, Martian, after you buy your Roland V-drums, where are we gonna keep 'em? I'll have a basement practice space in July, but J Nak may want to practice at her place.

Please forgive me Janaki/JaeKim as my nerves are completely shredded after last nights exhausting FOUR HOUR trawl thru that OTHER notorious NewOrder forum trying to eradicate all traces of that cyber terrorist Karen James Curtis...I keep assuming that any one with those six letters in any anagrammatic juxtaposition are the latest alias adopted by this loathsome specimen. I mean she's been barred from posting on this forum by the Webmaster and I really thought she managed to slip thru the net YET AGAIN! Hence my suspicions aroused me to post my response above there....I've been almost traumatised by the sheer evil that that person has been unleashing - firstly on THIS forum, then on the other two that I post on....and as you can understand am now on state of constant HIGHEST ALERT (!!) for anything that seems remotely suspicious.... God I'm getting twitchy in my old age...

i actually do have quite a nice practice space, should we wish to use it. soon i'll actually have a key to it, too! the beautiful part? it's got HEAT. and AIR CONDITIONING. and even has bathrooms that get cleaned regularly! (if you want soap and/or paper towels, you must provide these yourself, however...it's not a hotel, after all. )
i can totally understand your paranoia, Marty...after all the insanity KJC and all that filth's aliases caused, both for ages here and on the other board...it's MORE THAN justified. so no worries...didnae make me think any less of you.

Gnu, as i allegedly was the one who cobbled the band's website together (amongst others), i'd hope i'm somewhat technically astute. however, be that as it may, a) it's not !Basher! i'm getting to hear; it's another project of Marty's, and b) i'd only post them up with Marty's permission. though i may still be a lowly WinBlows user, i do have SOME principles. ;)
and Jae Young...very easy to change your nick! on the menu up above, where it says "NewOrderOnline"...? go to "Account Management" while you're logged in and click on it. this allows you to change your nick, change your password, and also to add/change your signature file.
w00t. now to do some actual work. and i must also work on cobbling that CD swap page together...AND getting the gallery from the con up and running...
(FWIW, i offered to rip MP3s from the recording of our show, if that would get them up faster. whether or not this will happen remains to be seen...)
