Can you do me a favour and NOT do any live dates this year.

I HAVE to take the missus away on holiday this year or it's D.I.V.O.R.C.E and I ain't even married.

Finish the album by all means, but lets leave it till next year......or toward then end of this year :thumb:

Well, well...

They should AT LEAST do a proper gig in Manchester, don't you think?

I still wonder why they avoided it in 2006.. probably because they did the Apollo in 2005, I don't know.

Everybody wants tour this year

London dates only, please, so that I don't have to take any time off work.

And try not to double-book for when I've something else on.

That is all.

Have you considered the possibility that New Order could play a gig and you could actually miss it?

Radical, I know, but worth considering.......

Yes, hence the post in the first place. I missed a couple last year and was gutted. They don't do leave of absenses for New Order in my work place.....

BASTARDS!

What he said, but substitute a blistering double set of "Technique" and "Low Life" and come to Water Street Music Hall in Rochester, NY

I get the feeling we'll have to beg them to come back... they may not have entirely forgiven us for that swelting 93' stop. :evil4:

Though, Hooky liked H-Town fair enough to DJ...

They'd have to play Austin to get the biggest crowd, but I don't know any TX Order fan who wouldn't beg, borrow or steal to give/get a ride to that.

Here's a tip - DON'T COME IN F'KIN (heatwave prone)JUNE/JULY/AUGUST. Try... April or November. It's bearable then.

Just one appearance in Belgium would suit me, with no JD covers and no songs from the last album, except Who's Joe?

Optimistic?

That's religious discrimination, and is disgraceful and ilegal....just get Al ( high priest of vikings) to write a letterswearing your eternal soul depends on attendance at every NO gig :D

( I more or less pulled that line to see the Orb a few years ago.....told them I wanted 2 days off to "make a pilgrimage to an important religious festival in Dublin")

PS, Dear NO, the Ulster hall is lovely this time of year :D

Got to agree with you Shug, don't think I can manage it for this year financially!

Could afford an album, but that's about it.

I agree. We should put it to the vote. No New Order this year, please!

"Fuck 'em, and their Law! Sorry, tour!" as the Prodigy once said.

I'm all for skipping a year. Got enough other things I can/should spend my money on this year ..

love the typo Ian:rofl:

If and when The Sisters release a record, they surely could'nt sell less than New Order?

I've not bothered with them live since 1990 as it's like watching New Order with Barney and three of his mates on stage. Bring back Marx, Hussey and Adams will you.

Hear, hear! If they get the gang back together for a few dates, I see myself flying off for that. Next show I fully expect there to just be Doktor on stage with Andrew controlling everything from home. Maybe cardboard cutouts for visual effect. :p

I think, personally, it would be just fan-freckin'-tastic if the guys toured. Especially if they throw in some U.S. dates in it... maybe 1 near the Orlando area ['cause I've never seen 'em live... yet!]...

Just to see them live... that would pretty much make my silly little life complete. That and make my year.

could they please play the greenock tow.... oh fuck it
