New Order items on display in your gaff?

Various posters, dont know why though. Always wanted to get the Closer artwork on a poster but never got around to getting it.

Used to have vinyls on display. But not now.

I don't really have much New Order stuff on display.

I have a framed Unknown Pleasures poster in my kitchen. My fridge is covered in New Order ticket stubs and New Order magnets. I have a huge framed Hacienda 1st Birthday Party poster in my back bedroom - looks the business.

All my NO/JD CDs are the first you can see when you look at my collection. My New Order/JD books are on my shelf with my coffee table books (mere novels are upstairs on my bookshelf!)

Oh and all my badges are in a bowl next to my computer.

I have the poster of NO album/single covers up. There are also two JD posters (the Strawberry Studios ones) at home, but it wasn't practical to bring them overseas.

I'm going to get my Unknown Pleasures poster framed I got from Wembley along with the Wembley and Blue Saturday tickets Hooky signed included in it. Should be a nice little item when I get it done! Cheers!

My badget sit on top of my PC.

I used to have all my ticket stubs on the wall. Got too many of them now to even begin to consider where to put them.

I've got a Fine Time poster in a frame,although its been slid beside the wardrobe cos we decorated few months ago and i didn't put it back up!

I have nothing on display. My gaff is minimalist until you get to my studio room, which is crammed full of CDs, tapes, guitars, amps, keyboards, drum machines etc and littered with New Order bits and pieces, posters, tickets and all manner of random gubbins.

i'm going to frame my "still" album, with a frame that is gray, and do the font myself,put a background behind it.i love doing crafts and shit....

I have a framed Unknown Pleasures postcard next to a True Faith framed post card above my turntable in the lounge. I have framed photograph of the 'Fac51 The Hacienda' sign from the hacienda before it was stolen. I plan to put up the cassette cover to Substance Joy Division, pending planning permission from the missus, who insists on putting up photographs of our relatives!

Due to me in the process of getting ready to move i have very little apart from a poster of NEW ORDER SINGLES on wall.Several cabinets with odd artefacts like JAPANESE Touched By The Hand Of God and the BOXSETS of NEW Order and Joy Division on show.Rest is the books like FAC 461 and DESIGN are usually on view cos i am always checking up on the COVERS.Plenty of DUSTERS about to keep everything MINTY MINT.But to an outsider it would not BE OBVIOUS I AM A trainspotter of NEW ORDER.I have at last been able to use some of the items but plenty of THERAPY was needed.They thought i had a crap group phobia but i am CURED! Once i move i will make it more of a display.I wish i had kept some of the posters i onced owned but once a crease or fading happened that was it.But as AL started this thread can i just say that a collection of at least 13 DIFFERENT badges are ALWAYS on display.The 6 NEUVO ORDEN 2006 are my favourites.SUPERB and i don't even know where SPAIN is! The DVD's that SHUG sent are always on DISPLAY.But as for that dogy collection of LIVE bootlegs he lent me...sorry i taped over with DEACON BLUE.

I have a few postcard in cheap clip frames, recent posters - not framed, 2 of Hooky's drumsticks being held by a toy monkey, gig tickets on a notice board and a tastefully displayed pile of records. Quite low-key really!

up until a few years ago (when lady moved in) i had a framed poster in every room (except bathroom),in fact thinking about it i had lwtua,strawberry studios, best of rest of ,& low life framed posters in my front room! and its only 13 X 12!, the best ones namely substance and true faith posters were in my bedroom.

I have displayed many posters on my walls over the years,some rather badly damaged due to my blu-tac addiction. When they got ripped/torn i decided to throw them away ,stupid bastard,in fact i had a framed poster of the electronic debut alb and i threw it away simply cos it was orange,stupid bastard,wonder what they would fetch on ebay theses days?

Got to keep my house all minimalist for prospective buyers,but I've got my signed NEW ORDER SINGLES poster in a clipframe,various vinyl and cds on display,plus you can't go through my hallway without tripping over my "neworderdisco" mural.

At the top of my stairs sits a nice triumvirate of posters: the 83 Paradise Garage poster, the PC&L promo poster from Rough Trade (US), and mini-movie poster for The Perfect Kiss, with credits to Demme, Alekan, etc. The pic is one of Gillian's clasped hands, still haven't ever heard if any body else has one, or seen one for that matter.

The blue Factory US 21 and El Jarvo's Viking pin from the 2005 tour reside on one of the stereo speakers in my living room.

You can get the reprint from Vinyl Revival Manchester (at the end of Oldham Street), and I think it's the same people who're selling the Little Louis figure?

I have all my gig tickets, and a couple of other bits under glass above my mixer, and I have all my viking badges attached to my accoustic drapes (read as woolen throws pinned to the walls)

A framed 'True Faith' Poster in my living room.

A framed 'Substance' poster in my hallway.

A framed 'Technique' poster in my loo.

A New Order postcard on my pin up board.

A framed Joy Division - Atrocity Exhibition cloth badge (about the size of an A4 piece of paper) in my bed room.

And boxes and boxes of 7" Vinyl and 12" Vinyl scattered everywhere.

Easy , just found a pic of the Thieves sleeve on t'internet.Saved it ,cropped the numbers off and printed the pic off and framed it.

During my yoof I plastered my gaffs with all kinds of NO posters and memorabilia, a standout being a massive two metre Republic foam display from Wesley Records. Took pride of place in my lounge and was a freakin' nightmare to get home intact on public transport.

Since then, the combination of disdainful 'other halves' and minimalist decor has forced all my NO gear into 'the den'. When you enter 'the den', you're greeted by a dizzying selection of NO relics. Highlights include a massive 'Temptation' Ally Pally poster (again, another mission to liberate this on the tube), a Saville-designed Unknown Pleasures Supreme skateboard deck and a small collection of Vikings badges under my monitor (a popular place, it seems).

I've had plans for a glass display cabinet for the rarer gear for years now.

I have little or no say on what gets displayed in our gaff. It as once a bit like the ditty 'Polly put the kettle on' But with the kettle being posters, me being Polly, and Mrs BRF being Suzi...I'd come home from work to find things put away what I'd put up. Be it New Order,Roses,Ali,Boro..to be replaced with some girl shit.Bang out! I know!

Haven't got anything up now. Even my stunning Saville Fac1 reprint is still in it's tube.

Fac2 is proped up at the front of my Singles but everything else on my CD shelves looks like it's been thrown there. :\ohwell:

I've Heretically cut up Saville's Design book and framed most of it... Also other various bits of NO stuff are decorated around my 'man-office' known in the vernacular as the 'garage'.

Most of the stuff that looks like it's been thrown are Gig bootleg CDR's, so easily replaced. The good stuff doesn't get abused :) Unfortunatly that means it's sitting in dark cupboards :(

Fookin' hell Crazy you could start off a JD/NO/Factory museum with half of that stuff. Still beats 'The Beatles Experience' LOL! and nice one for saving some stuff which will become rarer and rarer in the years to come. Cheers!
