Love Vigilantes comes in at the 34th best 'lost' track. Dead Souls also comes in at 74. Dont really know why the 500 tracks are classed as lost though.

Oh,and i've just seen an advert for a bbc3 show starting next week called Thieves Like Us

Presumably they are classed as lost as they weren't released as singles, and were therefore lost to a wider, radio-listening audience?

Sounds like they were desperate to fill a few pages; I certainly haven't lost either song.

Sadly nothing to do with New Order - though they might have influenced the title. It's an adaptation of Danny King's excellent novel 'The Burglar Diaries',

Love Vigilantes is track most people miss when they listen to Retro :evil4:

Heh, these magazines and their stupid lists. Every year, every magazine has something to this effect. "Greatest songs of 2006", "Albums you just gotta own" or this "Lost Tracks" one. I've been at magazines, it's all the opinion of some dweeb trying to work his way up from the mail room or an intern trying to sound sophisticated by this great opportunity to name off a bunch of songs that simple and common-folk might not be familliar with.

Hack project by a hack writer in a lame magazine.

If I'm correct it says somthing along the lines of:

Bernard Sumner admiited the lyrics were a piss take, but in the tune, a classic single was missed.

One young chappie will also be growing a smirk that 'State of Love & Trust' is in there...

Q Mag really clutching at straws here for content. Should've called the article "Stuff to download if you're too lazy to look further than greatest hits albums". Would have been interesting if it was rare tracks unavailable or those hidden tracks before "00:00" or on track 99.

Given the re-release of everything, in enhanced or deluxe packaging, there's pretty much nothing lost now.
