The Temptation of Hot Chip

Seems they like a bit of NO...

They spliced Temptation into a couple of their songs live and also repeated the trick at NZ's recent 'Big Day Out'.

"I really enjoyed BDO too. Unlike many i wasn't bothered by the sound of the Killers' set, i think being in the middle of the mosh pit wasn't a bad place to be sound wise. My highlight of the day was Hot Chip incorporating New Order's "Temptation" into No Fit State. Just lovely."

The Killers are just at best average and severely overrated at worst.

I don't know much about 'Hot Chip' apart from the over and over song, but as this is neworderonline I thought people might be interested.

Hot Chip are a very hot live band. Still haven't heard a clip of them using Temptation though, been looking for it for a while...

nowhere does it state that the killers rip off new order (they've gone bruce springsteen now anyway haven't they?) & nowhere does it state hot chip rip off new order - playing a bit of a song is not ripping a band off, it is covering them.

Dont know about going all Springsteen, but i think that the drummer has gone all"My name is Earl" after seeing him him with his pie n mash recently. At least the gimp saw the error of his ways and shaved it off for the britts.

Excellent live but not so great listening to them at home

Hot Chip are a fabulous group. The Warning was one of my albums of last year. They're restropectively innovating if such a thing is possible.
