OK so we've got the books, t-shirts,albums etc, but what other random items are out there? The reason i ask, was i stumbled across this...

I think it was legit (a promo item), but i had never seen it before, and started wandering if there are any other even MORE obscure items out there, which some of us might have missed? The rarer the better!

Post em!

In excellent nick.

The one I really want now is the 3D version of Unknown Pleasures (in white or brown). Biggy posted a pic of it, but I can't find it. It's stunning.

the 3D version of unknown pleasures (section) is available from the Paul Stolper Gallery in London. The 2 shown on his site, are in actual fact Black and White, i think it just looks a bit brown in the photo. However they are made in what ever bespoke colour you choose so long as it hasn't already been used, therefore the black and white versions are gone now, and the other bad news is they cost a bomb! i have a few other pics of it if you want to see more, as we included it in an exhibition we did a year or two back.

The reason for the post was because I spent last week looking through an archive of material on the Hacienda, in preparation for a project we are starting, and it included loads of great Factory items. The pop-up mini Hacienda Christmas card, original blueprints for the building, hundreds of photos, sections of the original dance floor taped up in FAC tape, and even the original hand drawn template for the cutout "51" on the inner doors.

All that just got me thinking about what other interesting stuff is out there, which isn't the usual stuff from the books etc.

(Yes, this was just an excuse to post this picture because I look ridiculous and thought it would be good for a laugh.)

The aforementioned TECHNIQUE sticker was NOT from the face. But i cannot remember WHERE it was from but i THINK it was NME.As with most of the memorabilia i gave mine away only for a rather kind gent giving me another one of these years LATER.Remember also the PAGE in NME being given a FAC number on the FRED answering question page. How quaint. That TECHNIQUE notepaper in yellow that i gave SHUG never made another appearence for me again. But SHUG did need some crayoning material!

And don't forget THE DRY matches......well they would be bloody useless WET WET WET!

Cool outfit £50.

I went to an 80's fancy dress last year and managed to find a pair of original nylon 1980's roller boots. Along with my kids from fame outfit, legwarmers, etc.

I'm going to another one in a month so I think I'll nick your idea and have a 'Frankie says relax' T-shirt made.

Be sure it says FRANKIE SAY, not FRANKIE SAYS, or some trainspotter who know the difference will tease you. ;)

In Paul Morley's words, Frankie was a band (collectively say) not an individual (says).
