Any one of the above...and numerous others far too many to mention, but in the end I voted for Crystal

To me, the best is "Marine" off the last Monaco CD. I loved it so much, I used this as my intro. walking into the reception after our wedding.
It is sublime.....

,,twenty four hours..a rollercoster of a riff,, would still love to see the order play it live ..brilliant.like all the rest,

though,

why? is ,as it it when it was on the list when the song is a direct lift from l.w.t.u.a.

"we even managed to rip ourselves off" ooky,

destiny unfolded.

No mention for it thus far, but I think the outro to "Fine Time" has to be up there with the very best of them.

Add to that the intro from Revenge's "The Trouble With Girls".

For Joy Division, my favorite Hooky riff is Dead Souls.

From the list, I select Digital.

Indeed!

Transmission, because it's when Hooky became Hooky. But there are so many others, on this list and not on this list, that are worthy of equal consideration.

Such a hard question!!

Top 3 NO:

Age of consent Leave me Alone Thieves Like Us

JD:

Transmission 24 hours Digital

So I voted for AOC.

Primitive Notion for me, great drumming too

'Sunrise' for me, I love the way the bass progresses through the song.

I'd also argue that 'What Do You Want From Me' should be in there - one of the few songs that the general public recognise just from the opening bassline. Great track too :thumb:
