Haven't they been playing Dead Souls since Woodstock '99 or around then? It's also on that radio page where they covered four JD songs.

No slagging off from me. I've always liked NIN, and they should get more respect for covering JD, than lets say some other bands around at the moment who are! Pretty Hate Machine still stands up well. (i'll probably get some abuse as well now!)

My brother & his mates were at that gig last night and they stopped with me afterwards.

They never mentioned no JD cover, which almost certainly means they had no idea that said combo were being covered.

For one, NIN is one of my 'guilty pleasures' as far as favorite bands were concerned.

Two, 'Pretty Hate Machine' is probably the greatest industrial album ever made.

Spot on.I think it's true that when N.O. 're-interpret' JD songs,certain 'fans' expect or want them to sound exactly as they do on record,& that it's 'blasphemy' to sour the memory.What a complete load of bollox.I mean Tims' band,who is obviously a massive N.O/JD nut/officianado(is that a word!),cover them slightly differently,even tho'they are a tribute act.I've got nothing against anyone covering anything ,as long as they bring something different to it if it's meant to be released into the public domain.Anything else just smacks of pure money making & lacking in originality otherwise.IMO anyway

Quite - and there ARE so many bloody awful LAZY ASSED uninspired SLAVISHLY imitative tribute acts around today that we could mention aren't there? Chiefly any of those that cover stuff by these following bands - The Smiths, the Stone Roses, Oasis, The Beatles and fucking Abba. I say stop being such sycophantic bores and write your own songs for once !!

RIP Brandon Lee. Watched the Film End- on End a good number of Times when it first came out. Think NIN did and does Excellent service to the Tune. Cruised youTube. Lots of this Tour, Barcelona through Paris just last week, is already there. Different band mates from the 90s yet quite a few of the Original tunes. NIN Hurt etc.s.

That was also the first $18 cd, when all the others were $13. I was pissed, but spent my good cash, originaly for the STP song, but that version of Dead Souls is ace and quickly became my favorite on that album!
