Someone mentioned the idea of an "Electronic best of" album being a good idea. What tracks would other people put on it?

Here are my choices

Get the message
Getting away with it
Prodigal Son
Forbidden City
When she's gone
Tighten up
Feel every beat
Vivid
Breakdown
Some distant memory
Flicker
Soviet

Don't forget Twisted tenderness. I think it's the best Electronic track. Also For you, Make it happen(Barney said he and Marr wanted it to be first single from their 3nd album) Until the end of time, and Warning sign.

Warning sign? Is that an extra track on a single?

I like some of your other choices, although I still feel most tracks on RTP are not as good as other Electronic stuff.

...there was a Best-Of Electronic planned wasn't it ???

i guess it was at the time when "Twisted Tenderness" was released in the U.S., there were plans to release "Twisted Tenderness" (the song) as a single and a Best-Of Collection for the Asian market only...

correct me if i'm wrong... :D

Don't know Marco.. I remember a news from one year ago that a best of would be released in Japan.. don't know if it ever happened.

Oh and also...

Make It Happen was supposed to be the 2nd single in USA.. but it was pulled by Koch Records because they couldn't find a "big name DJ" to remix it.

it was a b-side of "Feel Every Beat". Great vocals on that one !!!

"For you" had also very good b-sides (I mean, on the first CD of the 2CD set). One of them - I can't remember its name - sounded like some Kraftwerk on acid.

What about Disappointed? I think that is the best Electronic song....

I think it was brilliant to put Barney, Marr, and Neil T. together....wonderful video too!
