Blue Monday on Channel 4 Friday morning about some kids and booze program. It was played in a night club of one of the teens that it followed going sober for the evening.

The bassist from Blur mentions having a Joy Division poster on his wall and said he played along to New Order on his bass when he was younger (1984).

There's a feature on Control in today's Canberra Times. Well they got it from the Independent. Still I never expected to see Barney, Steve and Hooky in my paper. :)

BLT for a Reece's commercial on BET.

btw, the NV is outstanding. I never truly appreciated the song until they did it. The lyrics are brillant.

I heard the Nouvelle Vague version of Love will tear us apart as I walked past Gemini's bar on Brighton seafront on Friday. Had me puzzled for a bit and then the penny dropped... There were a couple of jakeys plastered on tennants super doing a very strange dance and singing to it in very serious homages to IC. Very surreal
