call me a worrier already but has anyone got any idea as to whether there will be at these gigs any inner cordons / barriers to protect those at the front of the stage ? The only reason I ask is because I want to make sure that I am not stuck with my ribs crushed to a pulp on a barrier half a mile away from the stage because I didn't get to the opening gates early enough.

Well ?

This is England. We're far more restrained, so don't need barriers. ;)

Luckily Al, I managed to get past the crash barrier by a very nice German bloke called Stefan and into the front pen!! Were you up the back or whereabouts ?

You're memory's sh*te, Jim. Didn't we have this same conversation in the pub last week?

I attempted bribes at both corners of the fence, including 100 notes to a very fresh-faced young German, just for me, the Mrs and Gordie to get thru', and he was still having none of it. Then we ran into Alex The Red and his Manc contingent so about 10 of us watched the band from behind the barriers about 50m back from the stage.

Good day out though, can't complain. Cold lager, quality hot dogs, glorious sunshine and the Order. What more could we want?!
