Apollo theatre, Manchester, 1998, last song played ?

Hi there!

I've got a bootleg of this Manchester show, 1st one in 1998, and it reads that the last song played that night was 'In a lonely place' but it's nothing like that on my boot!

I can't identify that song. I've checked neworderonline database and it's also listed that the last song played at that show was indeed 'In a lonely place'... Any witness of the show that can clear this up? All the other songs on the bootleg seem to be the good ones though

The chorus is 'I've got nowhere else to hide / Feeling emptiness inside / It's gotta be easier / Than it ever was before / So I'm walking out the door forever'.

Anyone any clue ?

That's Monaco's 'Happy Jack', from 'Music For Pleasure' - perhaps it was a record they left the stage to?

Thanks for this, that means that my bootleg is one song short or that it's mixed up with a Monaco boot 'cos that version seems live

Unless I left early,& they came back on to do a second encore,of a Monaco song to boot ( ! ),the last song played was definately IALP.& that's what it is on my boot too
