Accidentally came across this hidden away at the newsagent - I'll try and get some scans up if I can fix my printer.
The issue is all about punk, so they've got Hooky talking about a certain gig he witnessed, and his favourite bassists - people who've read articles with Hooky before can probably guess all that already.
Couple of interesting bits (don't read if you want to wait to see the article)...
He mentions the recording of Warsaw in Middlesbrough 1977: "It's the only one that exists in the world - I've just had it transferred to CD, and it's weird - as I was listening to it I was thinking, My God, there are people out there that would die to hear this.' So maybe I'll save it for my retirement."
More talk about bass gear, covered in that issue of Bass Player last year, but he does mention he has acquired a new bass - he says a kid came up to him at a DJ gig in Toronto to sign a BB1200S and instead Hooky gave him a thousand dollars and had the bouncer throw him out!
Freebass will apparently 'resume recording in spring'
Hooky is on some all-star collaboration called Satellite Party
