how many hours do you guys spend listening to NO? i know i spend everyday since september last year playing NO or NO-related music. i'm getting really bored of some of their stuff...but i can't stop listening to their music. the music got a really weird hold of me that doesn't happen too often. am i the only one? i'm listening to the salvation soundtrack on tape...hooky's bass is rumbling through this room as of now.

It used to be 2 or 3 hours in my old job - now that I have been promoted
I don't get any chance of listening to them at work
So it's usually when I'm on here - or getting ready to go out for a beer;)
I usually listen to NO (or relatd) in work for one or two hours these days, in my car for half an hour and I think that in the last 14 years my average is about 1,5 hour/day.
Whenever Im at home I have the stereo on because I don't watch to much tv ... So New Order gets played just about every single day ...I've just realised that Get Ready has been the one CD that I have been listening to over and over again for the last 6 months .. Now that all the hype about its release has calmed down and we've stopped talking about it so much, Ive decided that its my favourite New Order release ... Brotherhood iis right there, but I'd have to go with Get Ready.
Let's see...15 minutes on the way to work...15 minutes on the way back home from work...any time that I'm in the car..don't play it at work that much any more, my subordinates have expressed their preference for the sounds of Mexico...I would guess in total...probably about 2 hours a day...
I think my office mate is about to tear my head off for listening to New Order related music almost 5 hour a day everyday! Every time someone walks into my office and ask what i'm listening to, The reply is always NEW ORDER.
To tell you the truth these past few weeks I haven't even touched a single New Order record, or pulled any sleeves off the shelf - I'm too busy listening to other great stuff that I haven't got round to giving proper attention to....
Everyday for sure. 25min on the way to work. 35min on the way home from work. 20min taking wife to work and back home. sometimes at work, anyware from 80 min to 6 hours, and basicly anytime I'm driving anyware.
I admit I have a problem, but it's such a good problem.
It depends on the day but as a rule of thumb two out of three CD´s I play are by NO, (often the third one is either Permanent or Closer!)

do you work at the bottom of a very steep valley?
Traffic is more busy on the way home. And right now they are fixing the road and it's going to take all summer so right now there is only one lane, so it's taking me 45min to 55min to get home. I got to get a jog closer to home. I live in the NE and work in the SW. Well I guess that gives me time to listen to more New order And with the new song, I'm going to have to make new best of cds.
And speaking of CD's I think New Order are going to add a live cd to their Box Set. Because David at WIM site said they want to know what live songs we want to hear on a cd. So I emailed him and said all the JD songs that NO have played live before.
