I am just curious what the other band members of New Order are doing. haven't heard much of Phil or Stephen..

Actually i've just looked at your profile ,missy, and see you live in Toronto.I think i may have passed you in the street (That really long street that's about 15 miles or something) when i was there in July 2001.Do you or did you own an old 89 New Order t shirt? Think it was the tour 'Concert' one in black.Passed by a woman in one of those t shirts one day in Toronto.Hey, I could have stopped and asked you about when you met Hooky!!! and stood in awe as you recounted the tales of your great times with the Bass master! I could actually have talked and passed the day with someone who is a great friend of Hooky!! But ,alas, such is life i carried on walking by and turned a different corner

If the rest of the band wanted anyone to know what they are doing at the moment then they would tell them, simple as that.

Somone living rather closer to Cheshire than Kent might have bumped into Steve at B&Q only yesterday and been told that Gillian had put the mockers on any 2007 gigs because she wanted him decorating the living room

Think you're missing the point, or at least making a different one, but never mind. Anyone who knows could indeed tell us what Phil and Steve are up to, I haven't argued otherwise. Silence is golden though, if they were up to anything we needed to know about on here, i.e. music-related activities, then they or those involved in the project would publicise that. My point was, and OK yes it was made in a piss-taking way, a fault of mine I know I have at times, that if there is anything to know then they will publicise it, their lives away from New Order have no place on here.

In the absence of any news regarding Steve and Phil's current work, we can only deduce that it is either nothing at all or nothing we have any need to know about. That applies whether you live in Canada, Luton, Chatham, Canterbury or Wellington, or even the Prestbury Hills.
