Like Hooky seems to keep telling everyone, how difficult is it to release a statement letting us know? Surely we deserve that, considering the support we give for everything they do, side projects and otherwise?

Very interesting. Not even Hooky himself can spell the name of his new band correctly.

Very obvious that this profile is fake as hell.

but didn't we all think they were done back in 93???

I think they like keeping it open ended, just in case...

Too right. I'd rather not have an official statement.

Well Ronno, I think it will also give us the hope for JUST ONE MORE FUCKING GIG!!!!

of course, I'll be fucking gutted that I don't remember the last new order gig I went to, as I was just a wee bit intoxicated at Wolves!!!

I wouldn't be surprised to see one last Manchester gig once the press starts ramping up in the fall over the Control movie. Just give them some time to rest before then.

We'd all love that, but I really don't think it is going to happen this time. That's it, finito. Let's hope I'm wrong.

Not seen it myself, and can't access it from work, but was under impression it's genuine from what others have said, but just obviously put together by a.n.other for Hooky, and not his own work, per se. Hence the droppde bollock over Freebass!

Perhaps Jack can confirm?!

It's genuine alright, or the faker has access to all the DJ dates coming up all over the world!

Easy mistake to make as well if something is being dictated over the phone.

Probably meant to be PM.

That profile does look a bit dodgy but I'm inclined to agree from the extensive list of DJ dates that somebody set it up for him so it's not the man himself at the keyboard.

It's interesting how that image listing the bands also lists New Order as (1980-) rather than (1980-2007) as he's been telling everyone  Glimmer of hope? Probably not!
