Hi all !

Just getting started on my new myspace page its not quite complete yet but should be ready in a couple weeks , im currently getting together some very interesting articles/info exclusive tracks from all the bands ive been in over the years including Warsaw/ Joy Division / New Order most of which you wouldn't have ever heard before ...

I have alot of different projects im working on this year , be the first to hear about them all on myspace.

Thanks Fletch. For the sake of consistency in moderating the site I'm going to lock the other ones (and sticky this one) as we now have three threads all identifying the new site. It is you operating it on Hooky's behalf, is it not?

I have set up the page for Hooky and am spreading the word , he is now looking after the site.

just check the site and i would like to ask about the other bands section - is it three bass or freebass after all? - take care!

well i guess most people who have myspace and use it regularly are young, but there are shitloads of people of all ages who use it.. and all bands tend to have one, as well as dj's/comedians/celebrities etc.. it's good promotion

Sounds hopeful for the E/Circus 'Novelty' & The Boro' Rock Garden gig coming forth then. Unsure about the W/Works mention - is this the master blah blah.. Maxwells Hoboken show sounds canny. Im sure i've got that along with Boston. carn't remember the Hurrah or Pier shows appearing ?

Yeah, some interesting mentions there... Would be good to see some of this stuff released, especially if Hooky does the liner notes in his blog-style... :) Shame I can't get onto Myspace at work to read more...

No doubt we will find out in due course, all we can do is wait and see. Some of the tapes may have deteriorated beyond the playable. It's good to know they exist though, even if we never get to hear them, same with the stuff in Rob Gretton's lock-up, we'll never hear it but it is an important historical record.

David Sultan is the owner of the site World In Motion, is a massive New Order fan, and has one of the most impressive collections of New Order stuff it is possible to own. He's a personal friend of Hooky and has made rather a large contribution to the world of New Order in the last few years (and no I'm not his PR!).

I've always suspected it, but now I know that Myspace is evil. Is it coincidence that Hooky gets a Myspace page and the next week it is confirmed the Order have broken up? I think not.

Did Hooky forget about Revenge? Or is he ashamed? Doesn't seem like Hooky to edit the past, I would think he would say fuck it if you don't like Revenge it was part of his life.

This may come as a big surprise, but Hooky didn't set the page up and didn't write the profile stuff etc (that omitted Revenge, spelled Freebass wrong to start with and didn't put an end date for New Order). That was done by his bookingagent. Hooky writes the blog and reads/writes messages.

I must have missed the part in the bloggers' guide where it says you have to write the Queen's English at all times, with correct grammar, punctuation etc, or some snot-nose on a message board will criticise you.

If I can make an effort to write each and every post in good English (and I said good not perfect, mind!) regardless of whether someone’s gonna actually read it or pay attention even then I expect the same from you lot. I’ve been studying English grammar since the age of 9 and I expect to read some proper English from you native speakers at least. After all it’s not only you lot who frequent this message board, is it?
