Thanks Fletch. For the sake of consistency in moderating the site I'm going to lock the other ones (and sticky this one) as we now have three threads all identifying the new site. It is you operating it on Hooky's behalf, is it not?

I have set up the page for Hooky and am spreading the word , he is now looking after the site.

well i guess most people who have myspace and use it regularly are young, but there are shitloads of people of all ages who use it.. and all bands tend to have one, as well as dj's/comedians/celebrities etc.. it's good promotion :thumb:

Good publicity plus it lets his fans get a bit closer/personal with him. Great marketing idea.

Requesting Hooky takes an emo/myspace cliché photo for his default picture. :deal: :evil4:

Charge him a fiver a throw for "here our kid, how do I...." and "Where's the so-and-so on this myspace thing". He's been working plenty he can afford it

This is a member of NO we're discussing, reading about his own gigs on other sites, that's just par for the course :D

I am so glad that there is going to be a Peter Hook myspace page:clap: I would love to see this one for sure:) at least now there is going to be something on him. He totally rocks! In my spare time I am doing a very special scrap book on him all nicely done up and it is going to take me hours to do it and type out my happy memories of him and it is going in special plastic.

I don't think it's the scrapbook that needs protecting...

Aye, Tim, but since it's my first offence, I reckon I'll get off with a caution... And maybe a free holiday... Well, £40 at least... :ignore:

Sounds hopeful for the E/Circus 'Novelty' & The Boro' Rock Garden gig coming forth then. Unsure about the W/Works mention - is this the master blah blah.. Maxwells Hoboken show sounds canny. Im sure i've got that  along with Boston. carn't remember the Hurrah or Pier shows appearing ?

How-come the Sultan was in basement - was this Oct time, still funny how he finds shit that Hooky never gets his mits on:uhoh:

Yeah, some interesting mentions there... Would be good to see some of this stuff released, especially if Hooky does the liner notes in his blog-style... :) Shame I can't get onto Myspace at work to read more...

But what's gonna happen to whatever it is he found? Will we ever get to hear it?!

No doubt we will find out in due course, all we can do is wait and see. Some of the tapes may have deteriorated beyond the playable. It's good to know they exist though, even if we never get to hear them, same with the stuff in Rob Gretton's lock-up, we'll never hear it but it is an important historical record.
