I heard this song today and just downloaded it from iTunes here in the US. Has anyone heard this??? I swear to god this must be the song Hooky contributed to on Perry's new album. As for the song, I friggin' love it. So very dancey!!! It's like Jane's Addiction gone New Ordery. Be sure to check this out! You can also hear the song at:

Hope you enjoy!

U.S. iTunes has the single with three remixes - two of which are Hybrid remixes. Very cool tune!! The new Mrs. is sitting here and enjoying it very much as well....

if it could be hooky and sounds like hooky, then it's probably Hooky. unless the cure were asked to collaborate.

Yes that is quite the good song!! I had heard about Satellite Party a few months ago. As a hair metal kid from the 80s, I was stunned Nuno Bettencourt was brought back into the limelight.

Look-I have listened to a lot of music. Certain players have a distinct "tone" in their playing. Among bassists I can prolly recognize Geddy Lee, Les Claypool and Hooky. He is one of the few lead bassists around. Hell I picked him out of that song he did on Gwen Stefani's solo cd!! Like "wait that's HOOKY!!"

unlike the stefani thing, were they actually in the studio at the same time for this track?

doubt it, its far cheaper to email a stereo mix, overdub a couple of takes, then email it back, the joy of the interweb. good track, i do actually own a couple of janes addiction albums.

Yep,I'll have some of that, good tune.Altho' I must admit,if it wasn't for Hooky,it wouldn't be as good, the bass definately moves it up a notch or three from just being a half decent pop/rock song.Better than the half-arsed Stefani effort too:clap:   :thumb:
