regarding Hooky's angels fan club

I was just going through the postings and came across a posting of Hooky's angels new fan club from March 30, 2007 ya there should be one I bet there is a website for Barney's angels too this is going to a be total mayhem Barney versus Hooky sorry I have to go for Peter he has been my favorite since the 80's when I read something like this I have to laugh so hard this is going to be like a boxing match:( Barney fans versuses Hooky fans see who'll win.:D

Heh... let me punch out some holes in this one.

For one, yes, there IS a Barney's Angels site. As well as a Steve's Angels site--that's mine.

Now I for one don't want to see a showdown between all sets of Angels [Hooky's, Barney's, and Steve's]. For one, I'm what I can classify myself as a New Order Angel. While I'm a Steve's Angel, I love the band mainly as a whole [because, come on, they're just awesome]. Musically and as themselves.

So yeah, if you want, I can PM you the links to the sites in question. Just whatever you do, don't throw us Angels into an unnecessary war, aiight?

Oh Sunshine Valley Music Junkie I had to reply to your posting ya I class myself as Hooky's angel all the way meeting him in Jan. was like I was living in heaven it would be a show down I do anything to give him my support oh so you run an angels website sorry I have to go for Hooky all the way my collection on him is so huge that I would not mind running a website of my own of just him that will be a blessing.

However they are not directly connected to nool. So perhaps you would like to post your comments about them on there rather than on here...or are you too afraid??

How come when I took the piss a few weeks ago I got crucified for it, accused of bullying and all kinds, whereas it's a free-for-all for everyone else?

If you're all so bothered, why not ignore Missy's posts, like most people on here, instead of bullying someone who's clearly not a strong enough person to stand up to you and is obviously fragile? Any decent person can see that and would just leave it alone rather than fuelling the situation simply looking for a further repsonse to take the piss and be nothing but cruel and nasty!

Because a few weeks ago she broke down in a sob story about how Hooky has become the only thing she has left to live for, or some such thing. I didn't actually bother to read it (too much personal information, thanks), but it made for a nice little guilt trip. Once she kidnaps Hooky, breaks his ankle, and forces him to write new basslines (a la 'Misery'), then maybe the tables will turn.

...but for the sake of playing devil's advocate I don't think it's missy's god given right to be completely free of honest responses on a public message board. If you post incessantly about being Hooky's number one fan you're gonna get the piss taken a bit and to be fair she has been rather incessant about it.

A bit of self-awareness goes a long way as we've all probably found at one stage or another.

Fair point, but there's giving an honest response to a comment, and responding to a comment in a spiteful and malicious manner to a clear target. If I and others can see it, Imagine how Missy feels reading it?

This situation is different from other piss taking that occurs in this forum and needs to be dealt with in a more sensitive manner.

I'm not saying that people shouldn't be annoyed and must agree with everything Missy says, but some posts are clearly too strong and send out the wrong message - if people really feel that strongly about it then they should speak to a Mod or just ignore it!

Self - awareness is perhaps clearly lost in this instance, however, that doesn't mean that others should not have theirs about them!
