Instead of wondering what would've happened if Ian had lived, perhaps we should ask what New Order and Factory would've become if Fac 51 had never been built.

Less NO albums to cover expenses? Early retirement with full coffers? No Technique?

I don't know. Worth speculating about though.

Legit question. I think the chance of hacienda covering its own expenses was greater than ian living a long life. Mind you, the odds in both scenarios were dire as we all know.
