So these competitions are for real, always thought they were just publicity and the prizes and winners were made up... :evil4: Seriously, never won anything this good in my life, my most heartfelt thanks. Can't wait! :thumb:

Nope, I'm not shipping, it's Pottsy's management

Seriously, I will stop doing competitions that requires me to ship stuff, it's too time consuming for my busy schedule.

Though, I have plenty of time since 3 months :(

Speaking about competitions, whatever happened to that U-Myx competition from the Jetstream CD single? Never heard a peep about it.

Just wondering.

Got it too... Nice to have another Pottsy autograph 10 YEARS after that London Astoria gig... fookin hell would someone please make time run slightly slower?! Now, to be honest, the reason why I entered the competition is that I had other CDs to buy, like the new excellent album by Section 25, Part-Primitiv. As much as I have wonderful memories of Pottsy, I couldn't forget I had heard the RAM tracks and I'm The Greatest and, frankly, they were horrible Britpop! I'd have bought it sooner or later anyway, I was too curious to hear the whole thing, and I'm happy I got it free with this competition. Luckily the whole album has quite some different songs and if you're wondering whether it's worth to be purchased or not, it is. Trust me, I HATE OASIS. I should hate an album with songs like I'm The Greatest. But it isn't, it has different songs, and some of them are quite good. Sure the retro feel is all over the album, but there's a lot of good songwriting here, and the most of the songs sound more like a personal effort than yet another imitation of the past. Got To Be Someone is a nice rock song, World Isn't Over is delicious harmonic pop, Roll Up is wonderful though Hooky could have played one of his solos, Faces is a melancholic gem, with the visionary Richard Parker you have John Lennon fronting The Beach Boys while Free Yourself sounds even, dare I say, contemporary... And I is another delicate and emotional number... Sure there are a couple of crap songs like My Favourite Onion and Warm And Happy Soul, but the whole of the album, closed by another pretty inventive song, Dream Away, shows us a talent in good form which could do wonders if he can leave behind the nostalgia and just be fully conscious enough he's a good enough musician with no need for such a heavy inspiration from music of decades ago. A surprisingly good album, no need for another competition, will certainly buy the next one. :thumb:
