According to the discography here, the Crystal version on Retro (Track 13, Disc 3 - Club) is Lee Coombs Remix (8:44) when it should be Lee Coombs Dub (7:04).

Am I Right?

Most tracks on Retro have been slightly edited to fit.. so you are probably right, and I didn't include this edit in the discography...

Ok thanks. I think I am right. The Lee Coombs Remix is different from the Retro version, which is I think is the Lee Coombs Dub and probably not an edit.

I also found out another error in Retro on Disc 3 (Club) Track one (Confusion). In the discography here, the version is "Koma & Bones Mix" clocked at 6:31, which I think should be only 6:01.

So do I get a prize?:)

Indeed!

To clear things up here, the Lee Coombs Remix on Retro disc 3 is not the Lee Coombs Dub but they do share similar timings which is probably where you're getting mixed up.

The Retro version is an edit of the full length 8:43 Lee Coombs Remix on the 2001 CD singles. This was probably done for space constraints on the CD.

At this point in time the Dub is unique to the CD singles.

Yes indeed, it is NOT the Lee Coombs Dub.

Ok. Thank you for the information. Point taken. It is not Lee Coombs Dub on Retro. So what about Confusion? What can you say about the time difference?

It is... the original Koma & Bones 12" remix actually runs 8min16sec approx., and the version on retro is 6min01sec.

The NO Discography at http://www.niagara.edu/neworder/albums/retro.html also lists the Confusion on disc 1 as being the Rough Mix, but its in fact the original 12" version, isn´t it?

Ok. so the 8:16 is probably the "koma & bones vocal version," which is timed here in this site at 8:11. Anyway, if you check out New Order Retro in wikipedia, the Confusion 6:01 is labelled "koma & bones vocal mix w/ bernard's new vocal." So i guess we should just call it that version. what do you think?

Yeah, I´m pretty sure it´s the 12" K&B vocal mix, it´s just the vynil rip I have runs 8:16

I must admit I got really lost w/ that lot of "old" and "new" vocal versions released on Confusion ´02. Only have the regular CD single and one of the 12"s, wich I haven´t been able to play recently.

Cheers
