My brother found it at: http://eeggs.com/items/3838.html "Hold the CD with the case open and the right side of the tray facing toward you. Look through the tray (which should be clear), there is a hidden inscription on the inside of the spine. If you can't see it, remove the tray entirely and lay the back part flat. The message reads "RW 2:1 1995" or "19.6.93 [HEART] 17.7.94" depending on your version of the CD. This is believed to be a possible reference to the marriage date of group members Gillian Gilbert and Steven Morris."

Does anybody knows something about it? I didn't find anything like that in my brazilian edition... :scratch:

On the double-CD (with Blue Monday remixes), the heart one is there (on the inner spine - the one that says "Blauer" on it)...

Easter egg?

Got the double CD with the Blue Monday mixes and it is indeed on there "19.6.93 17.7.94" (love heart in the middle)

19.6.93 = S&G engaged (in Cannes when they were there shooting the World video - i think)

17.7.94 = wedding day

WFTSC has some cryptic mumbo jumbo in the side of the cd liner tray.

Googled it but nothing came up.

funny i actually noticed those crytic dates/numbers way back when i first got the Rest Of CD on my hands but my interest in NO then were all-time low (especially those awful remixes like dave clarkes EGG or Armand's BLT - wat anti-climaxes!!!) and also the CD was a LONDON records release not FACT - i didnt think much of the dates/numbers or probably didnt bothered.... but thanks guys for the great trainspotting!!!

We actually had a whole thread about this in the GOOD OLD DAYS.But i am afraid i cannot remember what was said.There was an article about this CD at the time of release which did mention the dates.I will see if i can dig it out once i have moved home. REGARDS Rocket Mick

Answers.com and Wikipedia says "limited editions of this CD also included 'Temptation (CJ Bolland Remix)' and 'Everything's Gone Green (Dave Clarke Remix)'."

No, it´s not true; according to New Order Discography, both tracks are available only on 12" and cassete editions of (the rest of)?, although Dave Clarke recently released his EGG remix (slightly edited) on this CD compilation.

Well, it states "the seller assumes full responsibility for the content of this listing and the item offered", so I´m now convinced there´s an unknown limited version for (the rest of)? wich isn´t a bootleg. That´s nice.
