Does anyone know when the JD documentary will be released (either in the UK or the US)? I read an article where Hooky is praising it- sounds like it is still in production?

Think Hooky mentioned a documentary in his blog a while back.Isn't there going to be some rarely seen short film included or something?
I copied and pasted this from Hooky's myspace blog, Dated June 24th, entitled "Life":
"Had a chance to watch the new Joy division documentary being very well done by my great friends tom atenscio and jon savage! was weird seeing terry mason again but i hope your well tel! we went through a lot together !. But i did think i was really jded out but theres some great footage in this its very in depth. bernards on it a lot which is very good. It really conjurs up the feel o0f 70's britian the feelings the darkness it was where we came from undoubtably. so i think itll be a great companion to CONTROL comepletly different great contrast!"
So that's the reference I was going on. It would be great to see a good JD documentary.
I believe it is "Joy Division: Under Review" from Sexy Intellectual Production and available (at least mine was) at your local Borders or wherever you get these sorts of things.

Is that worth buying? My local HMV store has it for £20 and just wondering if it has anything I woudnt have seen before...

yup, I'm wrong. I thought I saw Jon Savage's name in the credits but I just checked and nope.
And no, Iwouldn't pay £20 for it. I think I got it for $15US (which is about what it's worth).
