FAC491 - Hacienda 25 Urbis

What a night! Great show, great crowd, great atmosphere, and great music, what more could you want. Nostalgia by the bucket-load, and smiling people everywhere you looked (and i suspect most were going for a extr"E"mely authentic experience).
Great to see the a-list mixing with everyone else, even if it meant queues forming for photo oportunities.
It was great to meet a few of the NOOLers at long last (Colin & Jemma), and get the inside info on Brownie's new album from the man himself.
Got stacks of photos from the night, so once i get my shit together i will upload them.
The show is on until Feb next year, and it's worth checking out, just a shame that the live DJ's, free bar, and Hacienda crowd won't be there for the duration!
Next stop London, when ourselves and Ben Kelly have finished the project we are working on (preview of which is at Urbis).

NOOLers - Big Clive, Iowona (Girl Afraid), the neatly shorn Jack and girlfriend, er, I think that's it. Although somebody kept 'seeing Rocket Mick'.
indeed!
will be visiting soon but at the moment i am having DIZZY SPELLS without the intake of ALCOHOL.Very disconcerting.Maybe an infection in my ear is causing this.I need to WEAR EAR PROTECTION.But i should get better and have all the time in the world soon to enjoy this.
Regards ROCKET MICK![]()

God Monty 3.30 pm. You wanna calm it!
Just booked tickets for the hooky evening, that should be a laugh, I'll be popping into urbis next week to have a gander at the exhibition, sounds fantastic.
Been.:\ohwell:
Great feeling at first, felt like being 'home',great video of Hooky,Saville,Miranda Sawyer & Ben Kelly discussing the Adidas/Y-3 training shoe, but when I got to the end,I felt a bit disappointed, just didn't seem enough, expected a lot more considering it's 'The most famous club in the world'.Couldn't explain what mind, just felt there wasn't enough.Maybe I'm a greedy bastard.Of what there was tho',it was great

I'm sure I could find something a bit more interesting to be honest.

Dunno, but I'm thinking about it.
I need to check my diary but I'm definitely up for this.
