We have a machinedrum (lives with Rich at his studio), awesome piece of kit, very unique and as steve says, you can fuck about on it for hours and really have fun. For, what is it, 900 quid? however I would not advocate buying one as your "one stop drum box" as it's kinda pish at normal accoustic sounds.

I think the break in I told you so might be one, but there are familliarish noises all over WFTSC.

Isn't Steve one of their "beta testers" for want of a better phrase?

Ah yes, the "land of the free"

Good article! That guy in South London was featured on ITV's Neighbours From Hell. He was definately eccentric and kept p***ing off everyone in and around Brixton and Streatham when the tank kept breaking down after he took it out for a drive which was every other day. Here's another example of tank mayhem - Steve's not guilty LOL! Cheers!

Have one myself with the added sampling option. It's fun to drop snippets of audio into and muck about with. Definitely not for traditional drum sounds but can absolutely come up with other worldly stuff as well as do a fairly decent 808 knockoff. Have you had any issues with yours? Mine siezed up after a month and failed to play another tone due to a bad main board... got it replaced under warranty and the new one hasn't failed me yet.

Ours has been good as gold (so far). Had a lexicon go boom because of a bad DAC, took feckin weeeeeeks to get it replaced.

I fear the machinedrum in Rich's hands as he is the captain of sideways rhythm and considers quantize to be a swearword, and the MD is all too good at twisting it's timing.
