Exactly four minutes in to this track we hear Barney make a sound like he's clearing his throat, or trying to shift a bit of stubborn phlegm from his pipes....of course, the speculation as to exactly what he is doing - and why - continues to this day....
Me thinks he's actually trying to launch a big pulsating green gobby at Stephen in a desperate attempt to get him to speed up on the drums again (like he did with "In A Lonely Place" on that live BBC broadcast in 1984)....
Either that or Hooky may have just walked into the studio sporting his new mullet and Barney, copping a split second eyeful of that new monstrosity, just had to clear his throat in complete disgust in an attempt to prevent the nausea from rising up inside him...
What are your speculations?? The more far-fetched, the funnier.... ;)
