Self-explanatory, Madeley just announced a look back at his 'dear friend' AHW's life on current show being aired now on Channel 4.

I'd hold out for XFM on Thursday.Clint Boon and Dave Haslam are dedicating a 3 hour show to him.

If you guys could record some of these shows and upload them (youtube?) that would be greatly apprciated... we don't have a lot going on here in North America for Tony.

You missed nothing on Richard and Judy, although BBC NW Tonight showed a nice pile of flowers building up outside the Hac, and put forward the suggestion to change the name of Whitworth Street to Anthony H Wilson Street.

Madeley recounted one time he and Tony discussed suicide.Tony said if he ever topped himself he'd do it by jumping off his own ego

I saw the flowers when I went past on the train. As I was thinking to myself how corny it was to leave flowers outside a block of flats, I realised I was choking back tears. Which, to me, is a nice analogy in itself. Just as you were thinking what a dick he was, you reaised that he'd just changed the world a bit.

He kissed a lot of frogs.
