About 20 of the Vikings are out on the razz in Lahnadahn tonight for the Joy Division tribute band "Transmission"

Alan Hempsall from Crispy Ambulance is in attendance and has been given a FAC383 badge and been told he's an honorary member of the crew. For those who may not know, Alan once stood in for Ian Curtis when he was ill. :viking:

Terry Mason, who features heavily in David Nolan's new book about Barney is also at the gig, but according to a semi drunken Jarvo, he's got a few tasty lads with him, so he's not been approached yet :laugh:

I could hear the end of Digital and the start of Novelty, sounded like everyone was having a drunken time. Apparently there was a lad in an 80's casuals t-shirt, but when asked if he was SteveOne from here, he denied it......If he is undercover, I fear a few arrests for Class A's will be front page news the morra :uhoh: :laugh:

Oh, btw, Crispy Ambulance's name was down to Graham Massey (Biting Tongues and Crispy Ambulance used to share the same rehersal rooms).

Alan Hempsall. THE nicest bloke you could ever chat to. What a genuinely top fella. He's nearly as nice as Monty and that's saying something!

Hilarious when his Mrs made a beeline for my mate Tim though cos their kids go to school together! :laugh:

Finally got hold of Mason by the gents, when his boys left him unguarded for all of thirty seconds! Again, a really sound bloke.

Good to see everyone again ... and to finally meet the Angels!

And cheers to Monty for letting us drink him out of house and home ... you've got a lovely gaff, hope it's still standing this morning!

Went all that way to Stockport though ... and I forgot to buy the fucking book? :nonono:
