He talks some shite that Saville. Give the prick a million quid to design something and i bet its white with black lettering in the font.
The reason for such a high cost? Oh, well we had to get it exactly right, the distance betwen the letters & the edge of the sleeve, and so on.

In fact i'd actually go as far as to say this was the last truly good New Order sleeve he did:
Some of the Republic era stuff was ok, but ruined by having NEW ORDER written all over it.
Run 2 is the best of his sleeves IMO.
To be the best, surely you have to be far more into your subject than any mere mortal would be interested in. I'm fascinated by my job, but do notice a certain glazed expression any time I speak about it for more than about five minutes. And for him to have given these answers, someone must have asked him!
Anyway, if you think that's bad, go to Urbis and listen to the interview between him and Hooky where they talk for about three hours about those bloody FAC51-Y3 trainers. Fuck me, I love them both dearly but they start flogging the horse about twelve seconds in and then just keep on beating the poor beast.
There's one exciting bit where Hooky says "Just a tiny bit of milk" when asked how he wants his coffee.

Of course, it's purely subjective, but what's the attraction with the Run 2 sleeve? Never liked it much myself. Doesn't hold a candle to something like PCL.

Its a british thing, the sleeve for those that aren't aware (isn't everyone?) is based on a soap powder box from around the time the 12" came out. A hidden joke about drugs or something...
Maybe someone has a picture of an old Bold soap powder box, the one's i googled were modern versions.

That's funny. I never knew that.
Transitions nicely to the Republic-era designs, where the sleeves looked like product adverts.
