Would scan this in, but seems my scanner is fcut. Oh well!

Hooky's in Mixmag this month, just another talking head saying what Acid House meant to him, along with Gerald, Underworld, Orbital, etc. Hooky talks about recording Technique in 1987 in Ibiza (88, shirley?), all the partying he did, etc. It's nowt you've not read before.

Worth flicking through at your local newsagent though, just to check out the obituary for Tony Wilson - there's a picture from 1980 in which Steve Morris has got a haircut like Lord Percy Percy from Blackadder!

Anyone else feeling a little FACed out?

When the thing you love has been so illusive for years, how are we supposed to cope with all this ubiquity?

Can't chat anyway, got Crispy Ambulance and Linder coming round for a cuppa in a bit and the place is a tip. Joy Division re-issues and Hacienda bricks all over the place.

Bring back Rubarb and Custard and I'll be on the front row

Yes, but when is someone going to distribute the much-needed FAC383 "Na Na Na-Na-Na" badges?

I would imagine he was covertly keeping one aside for his funeral, and probably had been for several decades....

Yeah I'd been thinking there would need to be one for either his death, funeral, headstone or decomposition. Either it's in his will, or he's entrusted Erasmus to do it.

Ours was the "more factory" way of doing it

BTW, wikipedia's fac-list has 383 as "vikings...Fanclub".

I put 383 on Wiki as 'The Vikings'. Someone's edited it.

Someone who doesn't get a discount in their local sandwich shop, I bet

Allegedly, Tony's coffin got FAC 501.
