Having watched the Factory documentary the other night...it mentioned Alan a lot.

Does anyone know if he is still alive and what he's upto.

The programme didn't really give details.

Cheers Chris

He carried A.H.W's coffin at the funeral I believe.

And it was him who phoned Steve to tell him that Wilson had died so, yes, he is still alive.

My boss at work actually bought a used Mercedes off him a couple of years ago. He came into the office and I was the only one who knew who he was.

Didn't he have a farm?

Remember a mention of that on 'Play at Home'.

He's on the right in this picture, embracing Peter Saville at AHW's funeral.

My goodness, I went on a work visit a while back to Redcar, and one of the locals told me 'bout the filming on the beach.

Didn't believe it at the time. You learn something new everyday

Pardon, but Steve Coogan doesn't seem to look like Tony Wilson at all, so I assumed the actor who played Erasmus was as fictioneaous as almost everything else.
