Can't make it next week, but just to let you know that the Bald Faced Stag was dire when I recently went back to East Finchley during the summer - crap beer, crap food, bar staff extremely unhelpful, and a generally dirty pub...! :p

Perhaps if the Bald Faced Stag seems a bit of a ropey boozer perhaps some of these alternatives could be better for a meet up Cheers!

Anyone got a spare for this???

Er, booked 2 tickets for this and discovered yesterday that the booking system has NOT processed my bookings or payments (done last tuesday) - due to some technical error or such thing.

So, i'm going down there tonight on my way home to have it out with them and see if i can somehow blag it as it is an error of theirs.......

Wish me luck!

I'll still be out Wednesday, though.

Anyone that has booked - double check your bookings.

Er, how do you know it didn't go through?

I've had a confirmation number and everything. Did you not?

However, that website is SHIT. Tried about 10 times during the working day to get tickets and it kept timing out. Eventually tried one more time before their box office phoneline opened and it actually went through that time!

They don't issue automated emails either - you have to print off the screen confirmation itself. Poor.

Well, my broadband has been crashing every couple of days for the past 2 weeks, and had only just revived itself when i read your e-mail early, early doors on Tueday morning. Went through the booking thing - about 6/7 times (5am in the morning) and thought perhaps it was the broadband causing the problems - although i didn't have any problems booking tickets the same time for Arsenal. Put all my details through, bank card etc, said it was confirmed but no ref came up and i then went off to get ready for work without thinking about it (assuming a confirmation would be e-mailed)

Was only whilst reading about it beeing fully booked and people asking for tickets that the penny dropped (no e-mail), so, i tried to check for hours with the bastard box office - with no success, and then checked with my bank and NO money has been debited from my account(or is pending)

So, i'm going down there tonight! Probably get us all barred!

You wouldn't get an email though - just an on-screen confirmation.

Wonder if they're saving any back on the night? Wolfram's in the hunt for a spare for his Mrs too.

I still need one as well.

Exactly - i got a confirmation on - screen.........but no ref number or anything - nothing to write down?? Didn't think much about it at the time. Just thought it would be sent in an e-mail.

I'm 100% going down there tonight, am really going to try and blag it and see if i can get some tickets (lay it on thick etc), and find out what the score is for Weds.

I'm in the Smoke this Weds but got other engagements between 8PM and 1AM. Up for a shandy bass in a ladies glass if there's a pre or post event session. Somewhere handy for either Barbican or Portland Place.

Give 'em a ring, Tim. Bonz said there was eight left earlier.

Think their boxoffice is only open from 4-9pm or summat though?

Otherwise there's a few of us going to the NFT on Thursday. Mate of mine only bought tickets today so there's some left there.

Ah well, I forgot all about the BFI ticket I've got for the screening on Thursday.

It's not a limited release, is it? It's on general release from Friday as far as I know. There's ads for it everywhere on the tube.

Box Office will open 12.30 this afternoon - sharp. I got the last 4 tickets but i do know that there were 4 other available ones left that had been put aside - despite it saying sell out on the website. Worth a shot.

Get in quick though. Box office opens and shuts at various times during the day and this will be the earliest opening time opportunity.

Probably first home, cos it's only up the road from me (it's 1am, but there'll still be a lot of folk on public transport!)

Well, that went swimmingly; er, despite me losing two tickets in the 10ft between the box office and the door, then kicking a red wine all over my handbag, sorry man-bag, as soon as we were seated.

Won't even attempt to review the film. We'll all see it eventually and make our own assessments.

From a Vikings perspective though, lovely little turnout before, in the pub. And an even better ale-up afters.

The Q&A was touching. Hooky was very frank and open. Jim Reilly (Jim Reilly) employed his interrogation skills to full effect and asked some very incisive questions of Hooky (at least we now know the truth behind 'what was the point of Rob Gretton?'). Greg/Reg matched him with some equably biting insights. Hooky told us 'Ceremony' was definitely a 'Joy Division' song and 'Dreams Never End' was the first proper New Order song.

Hilite though, has to be Bonz wanting desperately to kick off during the Q&A but me and Hacienda telling her, they ain't worth it! ;o)

Rollcall: me and Gemima, Wolfram and brother Bernard (Butler), Bonz, Hac, Greg/Reg, Will Re:Order, Doggy, Old Monkey and Jon (all ex-Digital), Roberto Reynolds, APK and last, but by no means least, Vincenzo.

Also good to see Sean, who hardly posts here, but always shows for the big games!

Looking forward to seeing the other 'alf of Das Lundon Order at the NFT tomorras!

and me... though work has been utter rubbish and thus I have barely been able to make it on the net, let alone to the pub. I asked the "Are you seeing The Sex Pistols and are you bringing your studded armband and leather cap?" question.

Good to see everyone again (and to finally meet Bonz, after all these years!).

It's an "enjoyable but not" sort of film. Q&A was as expected really.

Ouch. Bloody. Ouch!

Red wine and emotions are never a bright idea!

Well...was always going to be a hard film to watch. Not helped by 30 seconds before walking in the Cinema, my Dad calling me to tell me someone very close and dear to me had died! Was gutted. But, couldn't and wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else than with, Al, Gem, Vinnie, Tim, Bert, Niel, Greg, Jim, Will, Wolfram, Bernard and Hooky....(have i forgot anyone?)

Ace cinema - you're allowed to drink alcohol whilst watching the film - so we continued to get trashed throughout! Good film, exactly how you'd expect it and i cried and cried my bloody eyes out - but luckily had Niel holding my hand on one side, and Vinnie holding my hand on the other.......:) with Mr Jarvis keeping the chocolate (revels and M & Ms) flowing - how well looked after can a girl get? We all heard you Al - you said handbag - not manbag! Ha, ha.

True Bonz style - got up to phone me Dad half way through the film and managed to launch a tray of empty drinks agaist the cinema wall - graceful as ever - you know it's bad when Wolfram's brother points out after in the pub "Oh, was that you? Just as She's Lost Control came on in the film!" Oops, timing spot on as always.....when it comes to us lot - you couldn't write it!

Madess moment was nipping outside just before Q & A started and some random bloke - clearly moved by the film - asking me if I "was one of the Vikings" and shaking my hand in excitement. What was that about?? :edit: just realised he gave me his number - it's in my phone! ha, ha!

Q & A hmmmmmmm, we'll say no more!

Great drink after hours. Another great and moving night and as always made all the more special by being with the people who love me most! I love you so much.

RIP Aunty Phil. I love you.

Oh, and a massive thanks to Missy Jem and Leggy D for kick starting my day yesterday by calling me at 4am and then again at 6am - to tell me i'm a twat and that they really love me.

Best bit was Leggy D saying goodnight to me a 6.50 am in the morning as i was getting ready to go to work!

Pair of bloody wasters! Camden Caners ain't got anything on the Viking Caners!

Knew I couldn't make it along to Finchley last night anyway, but still gutted. Most of you still on for NFT tonight, I hope.

Just been asked to work on the out on Parkinson tonight, so if anyone needs my ticket for tonight it's yours. Will hopefully see you before and most definitely will be out after. Should be finished by ten easy. Where is the meet up bar. Can I suggest the stage door behind the old vic theatre. So I can just pop across

The thing that made me laugh the most about last night was the expression on Wills face as we entered a packed cinema chanting Newordahhh. He just sank in his seat, shaking his head.

And how much did Hooky slag off Barney?:nonono:

I took only a few pics, as follows; Tim's head was in the way all the time.

What Jim actually said was "there's been a question on NewOrderOnline recently asking what the point of Rob Gretton was, how sig"(nificant, I guess Jim was going to say) (Hooky cut in with "I know" and then answered the question.

Chance if NOOnline can get 100, or so, copies of Control into its shop here.

Nic could spin a profit if the price is a few extra over cost. Fradley. Eastern Promises Your Naomi Watts is a Star in this.
