It's the TVS performance, I wonder if anyone has a decent copy as both masters from Music Convoy and Pop Elektron have surfaced recently.

Would be good if a master of this was leaked

Wow, what an amazingly good performance. New Order were kinda hit or miss in a live setting, but they were definitely hitting it that time.

Quality! Never seen this before,must be from '83 as the lyrics are from around that time,& Hookys' hair is short. Again,totally crap in a fookin' brilliant,only N.O. way! :clap:

I would sure like to know more about this "Pop Elektron" performance. I saw it mentionned somewhere as a German TV-show (1984, was it?), but I'm pretty sure it was Belgian TV. Well, there was a weekly show with live bands by the name of Pop Elektron in the mid-eighties anyway.

Pop Elektron was indeed Belgian TV. It featured a quick interview with all 4 of the band present and Barney takes the piss out of Robert Smith and a live version of Thieves

Cheers Shug! Hope I'll get to see this online one day... I'd like to find out what the best bit was: Barney taking the piss or TLU ?! Can't remember seeing NO perform, but I do remember seeing The Cure perform :uhoh: Youth trauma,anyone? Apart from them some pretty good bands performed in it. The presenter was utter crap, though. No wonder he's commenting the Eurosong contest these days ! :nonono:
