Since the live DVD is postponed I really would like them to change the plane to have a mix of old appearances and newer. For example their performance at Glastonbury, Tv - shows mixed with the tour 2006. Would be funnier and more interesting for us who didn't see them in the eighties.

I liked the 316 DVD with one old and one new concert. I really would like to see Reading-89 in combination with new stuff this time instead of only new concerts, thats what I mean.
Yeah, a TV collection would be great. Top of the Pops, BBC Rock Around The Clock, BBC Riverside, Celebration, a bunch of foreign shows (German, Belgian) - it will be the topnotch DVD for everybody.
I know it must be a headache with various licensing, etc., but it would be a gem. And if we still can wish - it could be a double DVD - the second disc could be an entire concert from either 80s or recent one (that Peel Day show or Alexandra Palace '98, Apollo '98 - those were professionaly taped).
C'mon guys, soon there will be no DVDs for you - people will download the stuff thru their TVs. It's one of th elast chances to release something. It may not bring a heck of money but how many bands out there have decent reissues, DVDs, etc. (and I'm not talking about the Rolling Stones), in the end it's for fans. Look at Marc Almond's - he constantly releases here and there that is of interest only to his fans mostly.

Warners yes but London is just a drop in the sea for them and London can do something (it's not a really big label nowadays, I reckon). In a way as Rhino or Rough Trade, which are again parts of bigger companies.
FWIW, I noticed that Amazon just updated the Glasgow DVD's release date to be March 2008!
