Just heard a versin on the radio of love will tear us apart which sounded like it had Hooky singing the complete song (studio version, not live)

Is there such a version out?

also heard a 'she's lost control' cover version done by Grace Jones :confused2: ....sounde quite strange :eek3: When was this done?

Nothing beats the originals...

A Manchester band,fooked if I can remember the name at the moment,recently did a cover version of it,with Hooky contributing bass & backing vocals.I'm sure someone will know who I mean,& I'll kick myself as soon as someone does :scratch:

UK 12" single, Island Records IS 12WIP 6629 (1980) "Private Life" (Long Version) - 6:17 "She's Lost Control" (Long Version) - 6:42

Was remixed in 1998 for an anthology, Private Life: The Compass Point Sessions,but not heard those two versions.

I don't think New Order recorded it other than for the iTunes sessions....

And it's defo Bernard singing.

But the definitive version is WenOrder and I, available on my MySpace page :lol: beats Paul Young :evil4:

may be the complete stone roses version. Hooky often plays on it but i don't think he ever sings. Except backing vocals.
