I've been trying to find again files of the FULL original versions of Ceremony (minus Gillian) and Temptation 7". I used to have these but lost them when my old pc blew up.
Is there anywhere I can find files of these? I'm not doing the band out of royalties, as I'm so old that I had the vinyl versions of both in 1982, it's just that neither (I believe) are available on cd.
I'd love a file of Homage too, but that's a different story.

I'd given up looking at NO compilations because they always had the re-recorded Ceremony and 12" Temptation. I'll take a look...

I have a memory of the original 7" being 6 minutes plus, but that might just be my age!
On a slightly different note, is it possible to get the original recording of In A Lonely Place on CD? Unless my ears deceive me, the version on Substance is not the original.
Yup, as far as I'm aware (somebody correct me, if I'm wrong!), the 7" version of "In A Lonely Place" hasn't appeared on CD...
For some reason the orig version of In a lonely place has never appeared on C.D. cant for the life of me think why as I have never been use to 2nd version, the syn drum right at the end sounding like lighting comes in at the total wrong time!!!!
Does anyone really care about the 7" version of In A Lonely Place?

I think I still have the 7"s of Temptation and Ceremony (see - I liked them before it was trendy!) if my friend's teenage daughter hasn't nicked them. The trouble is, I don't have a record deck anymore.
Is the Martin Hannett mix of Ceremony the one you mean? I have it on MP3 (I think)
