That was my youngest, Georgia. Thank you to all of you who approached me about the t-shirt designed by her mother for the day and also for reassuring her that she would get her chance to see neworder another time. I'd hit Finsbury Park by 4 o'clock and after a brief word with the law and a steward it became obvious that it may become too unsafe for her to enter the gig considering the deteriorating conditions. After a quick bodyswerve to an aunt in Hornsey I returned to commence battle, childless, at about 6.30.
Just a small word on the organisers-surely the decision not to of staged the day under cover needs to be questioned, considering the 87 gig was and also fell in the month of June. If my memory serves me correctly the heavens opened during ACR's set that night.
The atmosphere was the best I've experienced for a long time. Whilst the set may have become predictable they (Order) appear to be obviously enjoying themselves and we should be grateful that they are once again playing live for us all.
- good luck to both Ireland & England this week.
