'Techno' version of LWTUA

Does anyone remember this being played by Arthur Baker just before they came on?

I'm sure I've heard it before but does anyone know who its by?

Twas a great gig and much better than Paris I thought. Great rapping by the roadie!

Not sure, but it sounded good, that much I do know. I preferred Paris to be honest, though the first 8 sounded good last night, they only started to lose it during She's Lost Control, everything after that being riddled with mistakes.

Unfortunately i couldn't be at Finsbury Park, but i remember Arthur Baker doing an Remix of "LWTUA" for the Single-CD released in 1995. But this remix was only featured on the american/canadian issue of the CD.

Cheers Ed. I've managed to track down a copy of their last album (Japanese version) which has the track on it which I've now ordered.

Just remembered who they are now. They certainly seem to have improved since the release of Kandy Pop a few years back!

their cover of "Love Will Tear Us Apart" is additionally available as a b-side to the promo 12" of "What You're Afraid Of," released by spinArt in the US.

and of more interest to people here (and i know i've discussed this with Ed before) would be the Fact2002 tribute 12" that they put out through Optimo Espacio...unfortunately, it's no longer available. however, i actually have this.

it's a tribute to Factory, and includes their cover of LWTUA and also a cover of the Order's "Hurt," A Certain Ratio's "Shack Up," and Section 25's "Looking From A Hilltop."

i don't care much for the cover of "Hurt" that they did...and i do like Bis in general. indeed, Mickey, they've done quite a few things since their "Kandy Pop" days, and i would highly suggest checking them out if you like what you're hearing on Return to Central! :D

the ACR and S25 covers are okay. but the LWTUA, IMHO, is the best out of the four. i actually like it quite a lot. :D

I tried getting that 12" but its only available on mail order from New York.

Was on the bisnation website and they do seem to have been quite prolific with their releases over the last few years.

If the album is half as good as their cover of LWTUA it should be quite enjoyable.

wonder who's got it in New York, then...? since Optimo Espacio were allegedly the only people with it and they're in Scotland...
