What exactly were John & Ralf doing onstage during Digital? Miming? Paying dues? Looking lost?

Surprised that John Simm, another short-arse, looked a right lanky git when stood next to Barney!
No, there was no Ralf. Hooky called out for him to join them as soon as John Simm arrived, but to no avail.
Simm added some "day in day out" bits to Digital, but generally wandered around the stage looking a gormless twat ! Damon the Roadie did the World In Motion rap, that's probably what the NME got confused about. Not like them to get anything right now, is it ?

i had 3 hours of biology exams today - think i deserve just a little bit of recreational time, don't you?? (obviously not!!!) and, of course, this is my favourite hang out.
