I heard they changed the name from Kentucky Fried Chicken to KFC because they have genetically altered their chickens so much that they are no longer taxonomically defined as chickens. Or because they have been using rats(where is the white meat?). I'm a vegetarian so good luck to you KFC consumers.

Damn - someone said it before me here, and I'm a Palaeontogist! The stuff about KFC is bollox though - no-one can modify the genetics of species enough to create a new species. Yet. CTB
