That's my picks actually.

Kind of hard to limit yourself to 6 tunes.. and well, I had to at least pick the 3 North American hits.

I'm sure many would have preferred to see TPK or Ceremony rather than BLT and True Faith.

We need a megamix lol

nah, in my opinion, the tracks are ok as of now. Maybe change a little later. If you will include a megamix, I always love the two Blue Order Megamixes (1990), and I always play it.

But then, Nic dude mentioned that it is he who chose the tracks. So swear at him.:evil4:

You can't go wrong with tracks that are ALWAYS on their setlists....

So indeed, Regret could have been there... the holy trinity is there as well, and "their biggest hit"

I could switch WFTSC for the WFTSC Tribute Mix, but that was on Hooky's page if I remember well.

Strikes me as being totally pointless, this.

Yes I totally agree. I mean do you really think that Bernard and Steven - the two remaining members - ever going to really contribute to this.

And let's be real here... "Hooky has left the band" = New Order are NO MORE. So why bother with a myspace site to remind fans about this?

To be honest... it is.

Still don't know why MySpace is existing... just seems to me like a cheap websites for bands ;)

They are now stealing ideas from facebook though

But anyways... it's barely to generate interest.

I think, but stand corrected, that Phil was only ever hired help on a piece rate.

I think an official New Order Myspace is a great ideal. It keeps up an awareness of the band for younger folks.

You might be surprised, but there are a lot of high school kids who really did New Order and Joy Division. They are starting to be viewed as by a younger generation as one of the fathers of classic alternative music, much as groups like The Who, The Kinks, Led Zeppelin, Pink floyd are considered figure heads and staples for thier kinds of music.

Doesn't he share songwriting royalties for Sirens' Call?

New Order is 107 years old???:confused2:

:confused2:  :confused2:  :confused2:

and can you change "The pop group with a dark past" ? I find it crappy.

Indeed!

You may find it crappy, but I guess you have not been around long enough to know it's related to New Order's website history (and is in the liner notes of the best of if I remember well)

BTW, how do people like WenOrder's design so far? I'm don't think he's done yet, but it's getting good.

okies, but then, might as well delete it.:evil4:

I never like the word pop, and I never/refuse to consider New Order as "synthpop." Actually, synth is not even popular music, so it's an oxymoron...

It could be worst... "britpop" anyone? :evil4:
