over £300???

Didn't many folk here buy it? Perhaps nobody else did?

It's not £300 rare.

The seller either mistyped, is taking the piss or simply chancing his luck hoping a gullible fan will come along.

If you know where to look I'd say you're looking at £20-30 absolute maximum for an original Confusion 2002 CD single.

£10 tops!

Only ever played it a couple of times.

I'm hoping to get a jumper for Christmas like the one Barney is wearing on the cover of that CD

Got the vinyl - £307?

Its the Vinyl (promo?) copy which was pretty rare...only 150 pressed is my recollection. Or perhaps it was on CD.

Even if this is one of a limited release of 150, still a case of how desirable is this?. Even if there are only 150 units knocking about, it's not as if this carries the kudos of a landmark recording like FAC2.

£300 :confused2:

Er, (you just won't belive me) but that smiley, I randomly selected, comes up as Confused2. Spooky.

I was adding 95p for no reason whatsoever. :D

If Confusion is going for that, I'm listing my copies of Run2 for £500 a throw

Gotta disagree with both Rocket AND Ally !

£20 if you know where to look for a BRAND NEW COPY!

Any other copies on ebay or anywhere then £15 max.

As for the promo JG, a few were pressed according to niagra discog.

Although, probably the rarest one is this one:

WHACK2TEW

500 0nly white label promo / perhaps 150?

Never seen or heard one for sale, not even on the niagra discog

i've got one tho! :)

Spelling mistake on the sleeve/cat no debatable

Think I've got all the Confusion 2002 releases/promos at home?

300 quid for a CD single... Nah...

Let's put it this way - if 300 quid was the going rate, I'd sell mine and go on holiday somewhere!

The Amazon page lists 5 tracks which made me think it was the CD

As for the rarer white label, only 150 copies eh?

149 of them in Arthur Baker's shed, 1 with  (probably!)

I do know Vinyl Exchange used to (or maybe still do) sell the CDr acetate for in the region of £25. It has an identical track listing to the finished CD single; all edits of the vinyl mixes.

Then of course there's the London "Retro" 1 track.

I'm really surprised at this. I always thought it was a relatively minor release. Anyway, I do have the CD single. Got it for $8 when it was released.

Is that this one, Steve? If so, got it! :)

I kind of assumed it must be a typo, though a google turned up

slightly less insane at $178

And also something similar from another amazon site, didn't notice which.

At £300 I wish I'd bought 100 of them - could buy a house in some parts of the country on the profit.

I scored one for 20$ off eBay 2 years ago.

I saw it in a bargain bin for 2 quid circa 2004...

Bargain bin CD singles often fetch large amounts later on.

A KLF CD single, "Kylie Said To Jason", I bought from a bargain bin for 99p back in 1989/90... Now worth a bleedin' fortune! :)

True. I'm a regular frequenter of the bargain bin for this very reason.

Same here, and for more than just singles. I found the self-titled CD by Jill Jones for $4 in the cutout bin years ago, and now it starts off for at least $40 on eBay.

Of course it's only of interest to Prince fans.
