Finally, I was able to download and hear the New Order song, SUGARCANE!
For those who haven't heard it, it was far better than I expected. I was expecting some sleepy instrumental, but it turned out to be a upbeat dance record with lyrics.
So any info on this song? Like was it released or some demo tapes only? The song info on this site is empty.
I've been playing the song for the fifth straight time now. I love the song!

You probably haven't found Sugarcane. Where did you find it? All we know is that the song title was mentioned by one of the band at the start of 2005, it was named as one of the songs they were working on with Tore Johannson.
Very soon after someone posted a fake track on the net claiming that it was Sugarcane, it wasn't even the Order!

That is why I'm asking. Maybe I got that "impostor" track.
You said it was 2005, and by the sound of this track, it maybe fake. They never had a dance track like this, this decade. The track I have has hooky bass lines, but the vocals, I thought it was Hooky, but after posting that, I assume it is not.
Whatever this track that I have, I love it.
Btw, I got it in soulseek. It is in my wishlist for the longest time.

I didn't take notice of the sender's username. I checked his shared files and there's nothing much in it, so I didn't add him/her to my userlist.
If I only knew that is the status of the song, I should've remembered it. I probably even have chatted with him!
