Mrs Snorri saw Rory McGrath a few weeks back, but then everyone who lives in Cambridge sees him at least twice a year...

I saw Bez and his bird at Manchester airport the other day.
He didn't recognise me.
But he has performed with New Order loads of times. So we're back on topic ![]()

I've got a good one - New Order were mentioned in the Programme for Aberdeen vs Bayern Munich last night, in a feature about Aberdeen's previous fixtures on 14th February over the years and what else was going on in the world on those days. There's a picture of Barney and a mention that on 14th Feb 1989 Roy Orbison was knocked off the top place in the album charts by New Order with their Album "Technique".
So now you know ![]()
yesterday I saw the old ambulance driver from 'casualty' on the tube (precious?). today I met kyle mclachlan, sean rowley, graham norton, katharine heigl (ding dong!) and david 'the kid' jenson.
house!
ive got a meeting this weekend in a place 500 yards away from a famous JD performance 500 yards the other way from an infamous NO performance in a place with a connection to a famous and infamous Ian.
anyone who taps me on the shoulder with a rolled up newspaper saying 'you no my name' wins a fiver.
still don't know where the f##k to park though
I've just been on the piss with Chris Rock. And our mate Bernard. He says that you are all cunts.

Surely once they're in your domain, they cease to be celebs, and become merely problems to overcome? My mate, who does sound on UTV's premiere magazine show (not quite as bad as you might imagine, .....actually,..... it is, but with better production values), has had to leave the building before owing to being 2attoseconds from slaughtering the talent. Like the very famous singer who threw a mega hissy-fit because the guy in the other band who were on, who did play, had a better mic than him, and would not perform unless, not only did he get the other one, but that the other geezer got his!!
Pauline Fowler on Wednesday walking down a sidestreet off the Edgware Road (she lives round there somewhere, usually spot her drinking in the Windsor Castle)
Galloway from the Bill (he left it twenty years ago, I know he's been in Spooks, dunno what else) in Marylebone Stration. He's tiny!
Phil Davis in Crouch End M&S last Sunday. Even tinier than Galloway. I had an incredible urge to shout YETTI at him. But didn't. You get loads of celebs in Crouchers - saw Ann-Marie Duff and James McAvoy a couple of weeks ago, both wearing flatcaps. They're a coupla munchkins. Why are 99% of actors so small? See also: Cruise, Stallone, etc.

I find it's not just actors that are small when you see them in real ife.Saw Jo Whiley at Milton Keynes railway station a while back and she looked tiny!.Had always imagined her as quite tall.
I went on the Eastlands tour at the weekend and was surprised to see the back boards where the footballers do their post match interviews. It's right next to the pitch; one of them either side of the tunnel. The thing that made me laugh (and the reason that I'm mentioning it now) is that there's a little plastic step lying next to each of the boards. The TV deals demand that the players eyes are about level with the TV company names. Less-tall players have to stand on this little plastic step when they're doing their interviews.
And how come they always manage to put their diamond earings in, dspite not having the time to wipe their brows or change their shirts? Eh?
I've recently had some dealings with Nigel Pivaro (aka Terry Duckworth) who is working as a journo at my local paper the Tameside Reporter.
Met Dame Kelly Holmes a few months back. In real life she is dainty and absolutely hot.
Also, had the pleasure of Boris Johnson a few months back. The guy is hilarious. London will have an intereesting time in may if he becomes the Mayor. Will be a vast improvement on Red Ken.

The above should of course read, "...had the pleasure of meeting Boris Johnson..." :\ohwell:
