Haven't played it, to be honest, but it is very difficult to get hold of...

Luckily, I managed to find a minty mint copy (Mick will be pleased)! :)

i have an original pressing (i think there was only one pressing ordered). i have only played the copy once to test the sound, but i cannot remember if it was this album or WFTSC that has a surprisingly low pressing quality.

i suspect it was get ready.

I have seen a few copies sell on ebay , usually from Germany or America. I think they usually fetch about £30 - £50.

i could've sworn ive seen them being sold at the amoeba records on sunset(los angeles).

Very tough and slightly expensive to find these days.

I won a copy off Ebay for about £50 a year ago but when it arrived the cover was in a horrible condition (rips, tears, you could see the record edge through the spine etc) so I thought, fcuk this, I want a refund. Fortunately I located a second copy on Buy It Now shortly after for about £30 and it arrived in pristine condition.

I don't think London Records pressed that many copies at the time (heard 3000?)

I reckon a proper sealed copy would fetch £75 and upwards on Ebay these days :uhoh:

I have a minty mint copy. Only played the once as well.

£50 and upwards? May well have to sell this for beer funds for the Viking Barca tour in the summer.

Does anyone know how much WFTSC on vinyl is worth?

Not half as much as GR because you can still buy WFTSC on vinyl brand new from Amazon UK for £16. That's where I got my copy a couple of years ago, nice to see they're still stocking it.

thank you!

same artwork disaster happened to me with republic, i think. i want to own get ready on vinyl because its such a grower. i start to like some songs which i dont like before. strange. i remember i totally hate spaceman 3 / spiritualized stuff then become a big fan in years. i think its about age or life experience, i dont know. but "rock the shack" start to sound really cool. :)

i'm seeing "sirens" lp at every record store since didnt sell too many copies.

So, are you the seller...? :brow:

Not surprised it's got no bids yet. If I didn't have a couple of copies, I still wouldn't pay more than £30 for it. Still, there are six days to go...

This record has never been played as I only have a CD Player, but purchased for the superb artwork.

The superb artwork? So it's 50 notes because it's a fucking work of art? And does the seller suddenly think it's shit artwork?

Fuck me, I don't get people these days...

See above comment!

I'd wager that the seller saw the proposed price above, and thought "fcuk me, I could make some cash here", plonked it on ebay, and decided to post it in said thread... Although I can't blame him, to be honest! :p

You're basically the seller aren't you, Second To None?

The CD has been in the 'Bargain Bins' for two years now.

The EBay vinyl still hasn't got a single bid.

What a shock! :eek3:

EUR50 is cheaper than GBP50 alright. but still is way too much for me.

The vinyl edition of Get Ready was a piece of crap. I bought mine for £12.99 by mail order when it came out and it was so poor standard. The quality was rubbish - with a playing time of 50 minutes, you'd expect a better mastering / pressing. Besides, its the only NO vinyl album I have that doesnt even come with a proper arty inner sleeve but a plain paper one. WTF???.... How cheap and shit is that? Because of this I actually sold mine on E-Bay for £25 a year later cos I was too embarrassed to keep hold of it.

In my view the artwork for Get Ready and the singles is the worst NO designs yet.... until WFTSC came out, that is! :nonono:

I was actually looking for Video 586 and saw a bargain the other week, CD and Vinyl for under a tenner!

i'm selling all my vinyl via amazon marketplaces. all you do is type in the barcode number , condition and how much you want and it's all done for you. they take a bigger cut than ebay, but seems to take forever these days to list an item on there these days.
